Stereotypd's Editor, Lin Orndorf is out on location this week checking out the King's Daughters Inn in Durham, NC. From what we've heard in the office, this is going to be THE place to stay for NC Pride (it's only a couple of blocks from the site of NC Pride on Duke's East Campus). And from checking out the inn's Web site, www.thekingsdaughtersinn.com, The King's Daughters Inn is perfect for anytime you're visiting Durham, especially if you want a little pampering. Look for a review of the inn in an upcoming issue of Stereotypd.

Even though I'm sitting in the office by myself this weekend, I see there are plenty of fun things to do unless the wind picks me up like Dorothy. But then again, a quick trip to Oz could be fun... but I digress. Something that is well worth checking out is Funny Business' special ticket deal: this Friday you can get four tickets for the price of one! That's four tickets to see comic Kevin Boseman this Friday night for only $10!  Sounds like a cheap...er... affordable double date to me. That's only one of the many great deals and fun happenings in the Gayborhood this week so, bundle up and get out there, have fun and support all of the great gay and gay-friendly businesses in North and South Carolina. Just be safe so you can do it all again next week.

What’s been going on in your gayborhood? If there is something new and/or noteworthy going on where you live in North or South Carolina that may be of interest or have an impact on the LGBTQ community, please let us know. If you’re favorite LGBTQ bar, restaurant or organization is planning something festive for St. Patrick’s Day, please let us know and we’ll help get the word out to the entire gayborhood. Just send us an email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Here are the fun happenings in the Carolinas this week and beyond...
